The DeKalb Farmers Market’s 30th Season

The DeKalb Farmers Market has had a successful 30th season so far, but there’s still more to shop and enjoy with the start of the fall. Seeing the offerings change with the season is one of the best parts of the market! In its remaining weeks, you can shop fresh, seasonal produce, and unique goods in fall flavors from over 40 vendors. The market features a vibrant variety of local vendors, from farm stands to bake shops, flower arrangers, hot sauce crafters, and even food trucks.
Its 30th year has been a special one, with a new logo unveiled in June at the start of the season, more vendors than ever before, and a focus on highlighting its history and significance to the community.
The DeKalb Farmers Market is hosted by the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Downtown DeKalb’s Van Buer Plaza, at the corner of Locust and 2nd Streets. The final day of its season is Thursday, September 18, so plan your day of shopping before it’s too late!

What do you need to bring? Come prepared with an appetite so you can pick up food to-go or try the various treats offered by vendors including coffee, cookies, popsicles, and much more! Vendors at the market accept cash, credit, and Link/Link Match to make healthy, farm-fresh foods more affordable and accessible.
