Turn up for Uke Day in DeKalb! Mayor Cohen Barnes has proclaimed that August 13 is official “Ukulele Day in DeKalb,” so mark the occasion from 1 to 5 p.m., in the lower-level community room at Hopkins Park. Admission is $5, and the first 40 people get a free lei. Admission includes three uke workshops, a concert with the Wild Blue Ukulele Orchestra, and a strum and sing.
