The DeKalb Veteran Memorial Re-Dedication Ceremony

• Welcome by local dignitaries and community leaders
• Honoring various people and organizations that helped build the memorial
• Installation of 100 new memorial bricks
• New US Army bench sponsored by “The Setchell Family”
• New addition to the World War I Memorial
• Honoring Eagle Scout Aidric Walters
• Music by Ron Lofton
• New Memorial Honoring Women Veterans
NOTE: Everyone is invited to a welcome reception inside the ELKS Lodge following
the ceremony.
• Hosted by the DeKalb ELKS and Jerry Evans, Exalted Ruler for the DeKalb ELKS, and
USAF Veteran Michael Embrey, the creator of the DeKalb Veteran Memorial.
