Teens to Wellness: Anxiety and School Pressures

This free 4-week series will talk about common things that all teens face. Each week with discuss a new topic: anxiety and social pressures, gender expression and identity, healthy relationships, and career paths. Feel free to attend one or all of the programs. Engage with YSB therapists as they explore these challenges your teens face and provide healthy coping skills and resources.

Week 1: Anxiety and School Pressures. We’ll start off this series by exploring the topics of college expectations, grades pressures, sports pressures, and social pressure.

This free series of programs is presented by Jasmine L. Young, Early Intervention and Prevention Group Coordinator and Youth and Family Therapist of The DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau. These programs are intended for ages 12-15. Registration is required. To register for this event, please visit dkpl.org.

This program is part of the “Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body” initiative with the DeKalb Kiwanis Club.

This event will take place in the DeKalb Public Library’s Teen Room.
