Recovery is Possible

Dive deep with an individual who is living her life of recovery from Bipolar Disorder. Hear her incredible journey from multiple hospitalizations and living at the Chicago YMCA to working full time, getting married and purchasing her own home. Learn about the NM Ben Gordon Center Living Room which is open to any DeKalb County resident over the age of 18. Recovery is Possible!

Cheryl R Hahn is in recovery from Bipolar Disorder with psychotic features. As a Lead Recovery Support Specialist for the Living Room at Ben Gordon Center in DeKalb, Cheryl supports others in crisis and in recovery from mental health issues. Cheryl holds a CRSS from the state of Illinois, is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Ohio and has a master’s certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from Loyola University Chicago. She lives with her husband in Elgin.

This program is free and intended for adults. No registration is required.
