NIU Teen STEM Café: Jobs of the Future

February 26 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

FREE

Many of the jobs that are important now (social media manager, smartphone app developer) didn’t even exist a few decades ago. How can today’s teens anticipate and prepare for the jobs of the future – jobs that can solve the global problems we’re facing and preserve our world for future generations?

At the next Teen STEM Café, hear from experts in cutting-edge fields about the jobs that are available now — and the jobs they anticipate in the coming decades. Learn about the STEM, communication and critical thinking skills that will be necessary in the careers of today and tomorrow.

Chat with experts, meet fellow teens who are interested in science and technology – and enjoy free pizza!

This free presentation is intended for ages 12 and up. Registration is required at dkpl.org.

This event will meet in the Yusunas Meeting Room

For additional information or help with registration, please contact Susan at susang@dkpl.org or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 3400.
