The Malta community will be celebrating the 5th Fall Garland Festival on Saturday, September 23rd from 3-10 p.m. on Adams Street. This family-friendly street party will offer music, activities, food, drinks, and a garland accessory contest.

Silver Creek Band will be headlining the night from 7-10 PM.

To commemorate their centennial year, The Malta Township Public Library will unveil a mosaic mural designed by artist Danielle Casali and assembled by community members over the past several months.

New to the festival this year is the “Garland Faire Contest” involving attendees to make and wear garland accessories for a chance to win cash prizes. Entries will be judged on originality, quality of construction, and use of natural materials.
