Community Prayer Breakfast

As a prelude to DeKalb’s upcoming Corn Fest celebration, the Kishwaukee-DeKalb Kiwanis Club will be holding its third annual Prayer Breakfast, and will feature a panel of DeKalb religious leaders addressing their organizations’ roles in community leadership, public safety and collaboration.This year’s breakfast, entitled “Celebrating Our Faith Community,” will be held at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, August 24, at Faranda’s Banquet Center (302 Grove St., DeKalb). A full buffet will be included, at a cost of $15 per person. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by accessing Faranda’s website at lincolninntogo.com.
