On Saturday, July 29th, DeKalb will welcome The Aruna Run/Walk to its City streets and pathways. The event will benefit The Aruna Project, an international human rights non-profit dedicated to freeing, employing, and empowering sexually enslaved women. The inaugural fun-run/walk will be held at Christ Community Church, located at 2350 Pride Ave. in DeKalb. This family-friendly event will feature post-race activities including a local DJ, bouncy houses, henna tattoos, body art, raffles, water activities (including a giant slip-and-slide), vendors, as well as a number of other activities.
