Sycamore Pumpkin Festival – October

The Sycamore Pumpkin Festival takes place in downtown Sycamore, Illinois, near the corners of Main & State Street, with much of the festivities happening on the courthouse lawn, which is decorated with hundreds of carved and painted pumpkins. Pumpkin Fest has two carnivals, a wide variety of not-for-profit vendors, three indoor craft shows, Saturday entertainment, and various other activities, concluding with a 90-minute  parade on Sunday afternoon.
