Pick Museum of Anthropology – NIU

The James B. and Rosalyn L. Pick Museum of Anthropology at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, was founded in 1964 and is operated as part of the NIU Department of Anthropology. The museum houses over 20,000 objects comprised mostly of ethnographic material with some archaeological material.

The museum, located on the NIU Campus, is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00am until 4:00pm and Friday – Saturdays from 10:00am until 2:00pm when NIU is in session.  Admission to the museum is FREE!
