Join the DeKalb Park District for the annual Polar-Palooza Winter Festival from noon to 3 pm for a day packed with family-friendly fun! Enjoy bonfires, hayrides, and hot chocolate with s’mores. Participate in the Rubber Duck Race, meet sled dogs, and try your hand at snowman head building. Skate during open ice hours or join in on broomball—no skates needed! The festival also features winter crafts, a book walk, sports demonstrations, and sledding. With something for everyone, it’s the perfect way to celebrate winter. This family-oriented event is FREE—no registration required.
