DeKalb Municipal Band

Recognized throughout the country as one of the Midwest’s most historic musical organizations, the DeKalb Municipal Band holds its concert season at The Band Shell at Hopkins Park, 1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb, Illinois. This historic band first came together in 1854 and has performed for 170 consecutive seasons. Performances include soloists each week and a special “Pops Concert” and fireworks show on the Fourth of July as well as other special featured events. There is no fee to attend.
