The Village of Somonauk lies at the southern end of DeKalb County. The Village, Somonauk Fire Dept., YMCA, Heartland Bank, Somonauk Library, and some of the area business hosts annually the Somonauk Hometown Harvest. This event includes vendors, local authors, a truck & tractor show, face painting, donut eating contest, and more. It’s fun for the entire family!
