Celebrate the past and marvel at the machines that built America at the 68th Annual Sycamore Steam Show, hosted by the Northern Illinois Steam Power Club. This beloved four-day event brings history to life with live threshing and sawmill demonstrations, an impressive collection of steam and gas engines, and a wide selection of flea market vendors and food stands.
Featured in 2025: Come see Erie “Type A” Steam Shovel, turning 100 years old this year! This fully restored piece of heavy machinery history will be in action, showcasing early 20th-century engineering at its finest.
Catch the daily parade at 1:30 PM, stroll through rows of vintage tractors and engines, and enjoy an unforgettable weekend of mechanical heritage, family fun, and community spirit.

Gates open at 7:00 AM daily. Exhibits open 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
Tickets are available at the gate (cash only). Please note that golf carts, pets, and alcohol are not permitted on the showgrounds.
