More Dedication Details
Bike Parade: Decorate your bike and join us for a bike parade from the Hopkins Park Shelter to the new playground, starting at 5:00 pm sharp! Bike parade participants will get to help cut the ribbon as part of the dedication ceremony.
Games & Activities: Build your own birdfeeder, scavenger hunt, balloon toss, sidewalk chalk art challenge, corn hole, DJ, and photo ops.
Pickleball/Tennis Tournament: Engage in friendly competition and test your skills with FREE Pickleball and Tennis Round-Robin Gameplay on the brand-new racquet courts. Pre-registration is required for both events and can be completed at dekalbparkdistrict.com
Food Trucks: The Press Box, Burritoville, and Sweet Butts
Movie in the Park: Encanto (PG) This family-friendly movie is shown on a giant inflatable movie screen near the Band Shell. The show starts when nature turns off the lights!
