Every barn has a unique story to tell. It’s waiting to be discovered during the annual DeKalb County Barn Tour!
The DeKalb County Barn Tour is a one-day driving tour of barn sites within DeKalb County hosted by the DeKalb Area Agricultural Heritage Association, Inc. and the J.F. Glidden Homestead & Historical Center. The 12th Annual DeKalb County Barn Tour will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026. This unique event allows visitors to take in the history, sights and sounds of the county’s historical farmland.

Day-of Barn Tour tickets can be purchased at our 1st barn located at:
32487 N. State Rd.
Genoa, IL 60135
Tickets can be purchased beginning at 9am until 3pm.
HIGHLY recommended arriving by noon so you have time to see all the barns.
