Medical Emergency Preparedness – Taking Control of your Healthcare Decision-Making

If you are living with a chronic condition or disease, or know someone who is, join the DeKalb Township for this session!
Attendees will learn about the File of Life Initiative, the Knox Box Program, Advance Care Planning, and how to initiate difficult conversations with those they love. This session is both educational and empowering and will leave you feeling more confident and prepared for a medical emergency, should one occur. Sessions are free and open to everyone.
This event is a collaboration between Northwestern Medicine, DeKalb Fire Department , Sycamore Fire Department, Northern Illinois Hospice, and DeKalb Township.
