Harvey Creek Conservation Center

Harvey Creek Conservation Area, the largest park in the SandwichPark District, spans 30 acres of wetlands and prairie grasses. Located in southeast Sandwich, Illinois, on Lions Road, near Indian Valley Vocational Center, it features the Tim Rediger Memorial Trail, a walking path that circles the park and offers both recreational and educational opportunities. The park includes an open-air shelter with picnic tables, available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and interpretative signs detailing native plants and wildlife. A 12-foot bridge completes the trail loop, and the park is fully accessible.
