In My Shoes: Art for Hope and Healing from Mental Illness

In an effort to showcase the highs and lows of recovery from mental illness and substance use, the Living Room is partnering with the DeKalb County Mental Health Board to engage the community in the recovery movement through art.
The theme “In My Shoes” to challenge artists to share an art piece in either physical/multimedia or spoken (i.e. poem, short story, etc.) format to the Google Form or to dekalblivingroomevents@gmail.com. This event is free and an art submission is not required to attend.
Light refreshments, cookies from Polka Dot Bakery, free goodies, and community resources will be provided!
