Submit a Photo to The DCCVB
Thank you for your interest in submitting your photographs to the DeKalb County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Photographs really do convey 1,000 words, and your images will help promote DeKalb County to visitors and its residents. Please be sure to read the below terms of use before submitting your pictures. Basic Guidelines:
- All photographs must feature a DeKalb County location/attraction/event/wedding/shop/restaurant (including food photography)
- Photos must be at least 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels tall in jpg or png format and no more than 10mb in size
- All images submitted will be considered for use on our social media channels, website, Visitors Guide and other promotional campaigns
- Professional and amateur photographers, businesses, municipalities, and attractions are eligible to submit their photographs
By submitting photographs through this form you are agreeing to the following:
By submitting photos to the DeKalb County Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCCVB), you authorize the DCCVB to publish the submitted photographs taken by you for use in DeKalb County CVB printed and digital publications, ads, video, website, and social media.
By submitting photos to the DCCVB, you are affirming that you are the copyright holder of the photograph(s) and that your submission is voluntary, and that you acknowledge that you will receive no financial compensation from the DCCVB, its contractors or its employees for use of the submitted pictures to promote DeKalb County and its attractions. You further agree that your participation in any, but not limited to, publications, websites or social media produced by DeKalb County CVB confers upon you no rights of ownership whatsoever. And release DeKalb County CVB, its contractors and its employees from liability for any claims by you or any third party in connection with your participation.
Photographers are credited for each photo published. Although photographers retain copyright, by submitting photos to DCCVB, photographers are assigning DCCVB the right to use the photos in any future, including but not limited to, publication, ad or promotion, whether in print or digital format as the DCCVB sees fit.
Photo releases will be requested for photos of people not taken in a public venue. Any questions about what may or may not need a photo release form submitted can be directed to the DCCVB Executive Director Debbie Armstrong (815.756.1336)
