Apple Picking and Pumpkin Patches
Select your very own bushel of apples and sample other tasty goods at Jonamac or Kuipers Family Farm in Maple Park. Gala, Honeycrisp, Fuji, Jonathan, Golden Delicious, and so many more are ripe and ready for picking! Both farms are such popular fall destinations; they were recently featured inAAA Living magazine.
Come for the apples and stay long enough to walk through the pumpkin patch and choose the perfect jack-o-lantern. You and your family can also take part in dozens of kid-friendly activities, like duck races, hayrides, petting zoo, and apple cannons, to name just a few.

The 53rd Annual Sycamore Pumpkin Festival runs October 22-26. Stop by the DeKalb County Courthouse beginning on Thursday, October 23 to see the Lions’ Pumpkin Display on the lawn. Enjoy a carnival, Historic Homes walk, craft market, Sunday parade, and so much more!
