Difficulty Hearing on the Phone? CaptionCall Can Help

Friday, February 14, 2020

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Do you ever have difficulty hearing on the phone? CaptionCall helps people hear easily on the phone when speaking with family, friends, grandchildren, people with accents, doctors’ offices, and 911.

Funded through a federal program, CaptionCall provides no-cost captioning service available to anyone with difficulty hearing. The CaptionCall phone displays smooth-scrolling captions of what the caller says on a large, easy-to-read screen. Just follow the captions as you listen to the caller so you can easily fill in the blank when you miss a word or aren’t sure what the caller said. The phone also has adjustable amplification with superior sound quality, making it easy to understand what the caller says. Captions can be saved as needed (eliminating the need to take down notes). Voicemail messages are also captioned to be read at a later time.

Join us for an informational workshop and demonstration on how CaptionCall can help you! This program is free and open to all.
