Conflict Styles Workshop

Each one of us has a conflict style. Identification of your instinctual reaction to conflict can help you learn how to best address conflictual situations. Learn about the different styles to better understand yourself and your peers.
Emily Dienst is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and has a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She is employed at Northwestern Medicine in Sycamore, Illinois, where she has worked for the past eight years in their outpatient Behavioral Health division. In addition to seeing individuals and families as a counselor, she services as an EAP to over thirty local organizations, where she provides workplace interventions and presentations on a variety of topics. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness based stress reduction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Psychology from Carthage College.
