Toys such as cars\, puzzles\, magna-tiles\, books\, and stepping stones will be incorporated\, and every child may engage in activities that cater to their unique interests and abilities. While aimed at children aged 0-5\, children of all ages are welcome. \nThis program is free and open to all. Registration is not required. This program is for ages 0-5. DESCRIPTION:Between 2002 and 2023\, Jeremy has released twelve albums\, five of them RIAA- certified as Gold. He has sold over 6 million albums\, over 2 Billion streams and with 44 #1 singles across all formats. His music has earned him numerous awards and nominations across the Christian and secular music industries\, including five GMA Dove Awards\, Grammy nomination\, three American Music Award nominations\, and four ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Awards. Camp was named Billboard’s #2 Christian artist of the decade as well. Outside of music\, in 2020 Jeremy had an international theatrical movie release called “I Still Believe” which hit #1 in the box office opening weekend. The film depicted his life story of love and loss of his first wife after a battle with cancer. Camp has always written songs about his experiences and continues to write from the deep places of his heart.

This two day juried show features 60 to 70 artisans exhibiting fine arts and crafts in a variety of mediums including watercolor\, oil painting\, pencil sketching\, fabric art\, woodworking\, pastels\, photography\, ceramics\, garden art\, jewelry\, fused glass and other three-dimensional media. KVAL member artists also offer a group exhibit with all media. The Art of Giving raffle is a popular part of the show. Customers can win original pieces of artwork donated by KVAL members. Admission to the show is free to the public. Musical entertainment adds to the show’s relaxing atmosphere and food is provided by the local Boy Scout Troop 33.

DESCRIPTION:Story time will be held on the lawn of the Glidden Homestead\, 921 W. Lincoln Highway (next to Glidden Florist)\, and will be moved indoors if inclement weather. These programs are held monthly at 1 pm on the first Sunday of each month\, starting on May 4. \n\n\n\nThese interactive story times for children may feature songs\, movement and more. This event is free. No registration is required. \n\n\n\nAnnie’s Story Time is named for Joseph F. Glidden’s niece\, Annie Glidden\, who was a major promoter of DeKalb’s cultural and social causes during her lifetime. In 1898\, seeing the need to supply the recently formed DeKalb Public Library with good books\, Annie formed the Library Whist Club. On Monday afternoons\, this group of women came together to play the card game whist. Monies from their membership dues were used for library book purchases. To date\, the library has received over 10\,000 volumes from their activities.
