DESCRIPTION:Preserving agricultural history for future generations to enjoy\, the Sycamore Steam Show & Threshing Bee is a four-day event that showcases products like steam engines and gas tractors. \n\n\n\n 69th Annual Sycamore Steam Show & Threshing Bee August 13–16\, 2026 Taylor Marshall Farm\, 27707 Lukens Road\, Sycamore\, IL \n\n\n\nCelebrate the past and marvel at the machines that built America at the 69th Annual Sycamore Steam Show\, hosted by the Northern Illinois Steam Power Club. This beloved four-day event brings history to life with live threshing and sawmill demonstrations\, an impressive collection of steam and gas engines\, and a wide selection of flea market vendors and food stands. \n\n\n\nThroughout the weekend\, visitors can experience live steam engine demonstrations\, threshing and sawmill operations\, tractor displays\, and a wide variety of historic machinery in action. Many of these machines are more than a century old — and still running today. \n\n\n\nThe show grounds will be filled with activities for all ages\, including: \n\n\n\n• Operating steam engines and antique machinery• Threshing and agricultural demonstrations• Antique tractor and equipment displays• Craft and flea market vendors• Great food and refreshments• Exhibits from collectors and enthusiasts from across the Midwest \n\n\n\nAdmission: \n\n\n\nGeneral: $10.00 \n\n\n\nKids under 12: Free \n\n\n\nThursday Seniors: $5.00(Cash only at the gate) \n\n\n\nGates open at 7:00 AM daily \n\n\n\nTickets are available at the gate (cash only).
