Guests will also hear the captivating real-life love story of Joseph and Lucinda Glidden\, offering a heartfelt glimpse into life and romance in the 1870s. \n\n\n\nAs the evening draws to a close\, couples will write love notes to one another and symbolically seal them with a wax barbed-wire seal\, a nod to Glidden’s legendary invention. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. Period dress is not required. \n\n\n\nTickets are $80 per couple\, with proceeds supporting the preservation and operation of the Glidden Homestead\, including the historic home and barn\, both listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Join the Theatre staff as they share all the secrets and stories with a ‘balcony to backstage’ tour that focuses not only on the history of the building that opened in 1929 but also all of the Theatre’s ghostly guests. \n\n\n\nThis tour\, which is in the dark using only your flashlights\, starts in our lobby and will include climbing stairs and extended periods of standing. Doors open 30 min prior to the tour beginning. Be sure to grab a drink from the concession stand to make it a truly spirited evening! \n\n\n\nEveryone must bring a flashlight for the tour.  10 and older allowed but minors must be accompanied by an adult. \n\n\n\nThis evening tour will last approximately 2 hours and the tickets are limited\, so don’t wait!  The tour involves many stairs and no elevator is available.
