DESCRIPTION:DeKalb Township is partnering with the Illinois Tollway to host an event for residents to recycle and swap out their I-PASS transponders in favor of the new I-PASS stickers. This event offers an opportunity for attendees to safely recycle their lithium-containing transponders. Participants also will receive an I-PASS account credit equivalent to the amount of their transponder deposit. \nThe event will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday\, September 12th at the DeKalb Township Road District Building\, located at 2323 S. 4th St. in DeKalb. \nAdmission to the event is free\, however\, appointments are mandatory.
