About the DeKalb County Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCCVB)

  • The DCCVB is the official destination marketing organization (DMO) for DeKalb County and is certified through the Illinois Office of Tourism.
  • The DCCVB promotes DeKalb County events and attractions to meeting planners, sports tournament directors, tour operators, special event planners, and leisure travelers looking to plan an event in or a trip to DeKalb County. The DCCVB also serves as their first point of contact in their planning process.
  • The DCCVB’s mission is to generate economic impact and promote DeKalb County as a premier destination for business and leisure travel 50+ miles outside of DeKalb County.
  • The DCCVB produces the annual DeKalb County Visitors Guide and a monthly Events Newsletter – click HERE to sign up.
  • The DCCVB plans the annual DeKalb Kite Fest and serves as part of the IHSA Destination DeKalb Host Committee that hosts the Illinois High School Association State Football Championships every other year (2019 and 2021) at Huskie Stadium.
