Bring a picnic or purchase food and beverages from the Caddyshack Grill, on site. If you want to move, and dancing isn’t your thing, here are some other activities you may enjoy while listening to the show: playground, volleyball courts, outdoor table tennis, horseshoe pits, fishing, walking path.

Cadillac Groove

There are sweet grooves, good grooves, and great grooves – Then there’s Cadillac Groove. Cadillac Groove is Chicagoland’s premiere R&B, Classic Rock, Blues band playing all the hip shakin’, good time music that folks can’t help but sing along with and dance to. Funk, Soul, R&B, Blues, Rock and Roll … and all with full horn arrangements.

From the swingin’ ‘40’s to the 21st century, that easily-identifiable feeling we call “swing” is made even more appealing by Bopology. This multi-talented, six-piece band creates an atmosphere that fuses music and dance together for all ages. Non-dancers – or listeners – will delight in the tight arrangements and exciting improvisation.

Second Time Around

You know the songs, but you haven’t heard them covered like this before. Splendid three-part harmonies of Yes, Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles; pitch-perfect guitar solos of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Joe Walsh; rumbling organ solos of Boston and Deep Purple; blazing harmonica of the Doobie Brothers, Rolling Stones and Pretenders! Second Time Around has been thrilling audiences for over a decade.

6:45pm “Let the Goodtymes Roll…”
This summer marks the 35th anniversary of the 10th and final “Goodtymes Picnic” in the Sports Complex. The Goodtymes Shelter, where the Summer Concert Series is held, was built by the Goodtymes Committee in 1981 as a way to share the enjoyment and usability of the space they loved with many generations of park users to come. In commemoration, members of the group will present a formal dedication plaque before this evening’s concert.

Party Doctors

The Doctors are in, and do they have the cure for you! Based in Sycamore, the Party Doctors bring to life electrifying rock—covering 80s hair metal and party tunes all the way through the hits of today. You’ll hear the music of Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Rick Springfield and more. Don’t miss this arena rock experience in a park near you!

A SHiNdiG show is a unique, high energy, family friendly voyage to the grooviest decade of rock and roll music.

What’s your flavor? Because you’ll get the best of everything all the time with Soda. Classic rock, 80s, new wave, reggae, alternative–the list goes on and on and this band can do it all. Three lead singers, each with distinctive styles, work to bring authenticity to all your favorite songs.

Back Country Roads

Hear your favorite top 40 Country hits and a few older selections. This talented 6-piece band even throws in a few originals and is not afraid to occasionally leave the Country genre to add some variety in their own unique way. This band plays all over the Midwest. Let’s give them a big welcome to the Summer Concert Series.
