STEM Saturdays: Learning to Fly
Saturday, April 29, 2017
Since the dawn of time, man has dreamed of taking flight. In this class, we’ll do that! The first meeting will be held in our STEM Classroom in DeKalb, and we will spend the day learning about the science of flight and creating our own hot air balloons and other flying craft.
The second session will be held at iFLY in Naperville. Here, students will be guided through interactive presentations, demos in the wind tunnel and STEM lab actives. Every student will be trained by the iFLY flight instructors before entering the unique vertical wind tunnel and experiencing indoor skydiving.
Price includes the iFLY admission on May 6.
NOTE: First meeting ONLY will be at DeKalb campus. May 6th we will all meet at iFLY Naperville. Transportation to iFLY is NOT provided.
