STEM Saturday: Arduinos: Join the Maker Movement!

Saturday, March 11, 2017

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Arduinos are small computers that can be used to create a wide variety of different electronic projects. In this class students will learn some of the different ways that Arduinos can be used in their own projects, and the basics of programming them. In-class projects will range from lighting LEDs to creating an interactive game. Students will have the option to purchase the board they used in class, so they can continue the fun after the class has finished. (Students may purchase a Redboard for $20 at the end of the class. This does not include the entire kit, but only the board. Your registration confirmation email will include information on where to purchase the same kit we will be using in class.)

NOTE: This is a two-part class, part two of which will take place on March 18 at the same time and location

Suggested Ages: 12 and up – Registration is $60
