Managing College Costs
Thursday, April 4, 2019
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) gives a presentation that provides tips on how parents can support their students as they go through the college enrollment process, and motivates students to take a roll in thinking about their college budget.
Topics will include how to plan college financing, the value of going to college, saving money without losing out on academic opportunities, types of colleges and degrees, and more.
There will be an opportunity to speak with the ISAC representative and ask questions at the end of the seminar. ISACorps members are experts at simplifying the often confusing world of financial aid.
This program is FREE and intended for teens and their parents. No registration is required. It is part of Money Smart Week DeKalb County 2019.
