Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra presents Romantic Legends

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra is proud to present its first concert of its 42nd season, “Romantic Legends,” on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 7:30 pm, in the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall inside the Music Building, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. There will be a free pre-concert talk led by Music Director and Conductor Linc Smelser, at 6:30 pm in the Recital Hall.
On the evening’s program will be Prelude to Act 1 of Lohengrin, by Richard Wagner, dedicated to the memory of Thomas Sims and Susan Huhta; Violin Concerto No.3 in B minor, Op.61, by Camille Saint-Saëns, featuring soloist Stephanie Jeong; and Symphony No.6 in D Major, Op. 60, by Antonin Dvořák.
Violinist Stephanie Jeong is the associate concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony
