Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program: Informational Session (bilingual)
Thursday, October 24, 2019
Join us for an information session on the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP). The IBCCP helps to provide screening tests for breast and cervical care, such as: clinical breast exam by provider, mammogram, ultrasound, MRI for the breast and for the cervix, pap smears, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), and colposcopy.
This program is for women and men with no insurance, high deductible insurance, or those with insurance who have not kept current with their screening tests. You must be over 40 years old to qualify for assistance with breast exams, except for women 19-39 years of age with symptoms or a strong history of breast cancer. You must be ages 21-65 to qualify for a cervical pap test. You must be at least 30 years old to qualify for HPV testing.
Stop by to get information on screening for breast and cervical cancer that every woman should know.
This session is free and open to all; no registration is required. A Spanish translator will be present during the workshop.
