4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

This event is sold out – Keep an eye out for future events.

On September 9, DAAHA will hold its second annual Evening With Innovators. This year’s event takes the form of a farm-to-table dinner at Bryan Flower’s farm in Lee focusing on DeKalb County’s leading role in the nationwide eat local, food justice, and community garden movements. The event takes place from 4-8 p.m. featuring locally produced beverages and appetizers prior to the sit-down dinner of locally grown meat and produce. Local innovators will give brief presentations based on the “TED Talk” model, allowing plenty of time for networking and brainstorming among guests.

Blessed with some of the world’s richest soil, major institutions of higher education, and a tradition of innovative agricultural leadership, DeKalb County has the potential to become the epicenter of the local foods movement. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a fun and thought-provoking event.

This fundraising event benefits the DeKalb County Community Gardens Walnut Grove Vocational Farm and DAAHA’s general operating fund. More details will be coming soon. Tickets are $125 each and go on sale in July. Seating is limited. Contact DAAHA to reserve a ticket or for more information.
