12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The Illinois Extension office for Boon, DeKalb and Ogle Counties is hosting a DeKalb County Farm Stroll on Sunday, September 17th from 12 – 5 pm.

Do you know where your food comes from?  Do you wish you could get more of it from local farmers?  Well, here’s a chance for the whole family to connect with the farmers producing local foods in DeKalb County.  University of Illinois Extension is once again hosting the DeKalb County Farm Stroll on September 17th from noon to 5:00pm.

The Farm Stroll is a FREE, self-guided driving tour of multiple farms holding open houses in DeKalb County.  Diverse family farms producing local food, fiber, and fun will be opening their farm gates to the public so you can learn about how they produce everything from apples to zucchini.
