Cauliflower Fermentation Workshop

Join us for the “Cauliflower Fermentation Workshop” hosted by Blumen Gardens on Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

Mary’s Wholesome Living is returning to Blumen Gardens for another interactive fermentation class!  Mary Krystinak will instruct the class in making Spiced Fermented Cauliflower. You get to decide what spices and how much to add so that it suits your own taste!  All attendees will have the opportunity to do a tasting of fermented cauliflower, and they will receive additional recipes for fermentation.  Participants will go home with their own jar of Cauliflower all set to ferment!  Enjoy at home after the fermentation process is complete!

Supplied materials will include:
  • Quart mason jar  ($1 value)
  • Pickle Pipe – fermentation cap ($5 value)
  • Cauliflower
  • Spices
  • pounders
  • newspapers
  • Jar of cauliflower already fermented so that they can taste it.
Participants will need to bring the following:
  • apron
  • cutting board
  • knife
  • large bowl
  • Bag to bring home dirty equipment
